Queens Park is loved by so many and has LOTS of options for a party.

You can stay at the playground, have a bigger kids park at the skate park and BMX pump track OR have the perfect in between, at the junior bike and scooter track.

Let’s start at the playground which really glows during the autumn months! The park design is very much based in nature, including the indigenous features and there are lots of different textures and elements throughout. Lots of wooden finishes are found here and natural stone boulders and wooden logs act as barriers between play zones. Here you will find a wooden boardwalk with inbuilt bells, to the junior slide and swing set. There is an archway sculpture, dry creek bed, senior play structure with climbing frame and bridge, sand pit with a bubbler tap, a double flying fox plus a community swing circle.

The other space we ADORE is the ‘roll track’ - the bike and scooter track. The interweaving tracks are sealed and include wide sweeping bends, two hilly sections, road signs and lots of animal tracks to follow. Our little native buddies are the theme of the playspace and the signs along the track help teach little ones about bike safety, making sure you give way to kangaroos, watch out for wombats and slow down for snakes. There are some tables and even a BBQ in this zone

If all else fails and you can’t decide what kind of party to host, here is heaps of green space in the park for soccer games or tea parties.

Mamma’s special mention: Need to grab some yummy tucker for the party or maybe just coffee for the adults? Habituel Bakery & Coffee Roasters is back on the main road and make some INCREDIBLE pastries!
