george pentland playground, frankston

This wonderful playground is a perfect place to party, offering a stunning backdrop set in beautiful botanic gardens.

There are some awesomely unique play equipment, such as a set of different sized ropes which are bolted into the ground and threaded throughout the huge climbing trees.
A 6 person rope swing, an incredible tree house complete with twisty slide dismount, a net standing see-saw and the inclusive carousel. Of course, there are the usual - swings, slides, rocking horses (bees), sandpit and large statues of spiders and crocodiles. There isn’t a heap of shade on the play equipment, so be sure to slip slop slap!

The equipment is all in the middle of the gardens, meaning it is easy to keep an eye on the kids playing as you set up the party around the playground. The toilets are also nice and close. There are picnic tables - if you are early enough to grab one. But if not, there are a heap of trees that you can set up a picnic-style party underneath. If you wanted a bit more space, you can head away from the playground and spread out in the botanic garden area.

Mamma’s special mention:
Need so sweets for the party? Head down the road to get the best donuts and cakes from Hugo’s Donuts.
