footscray park, footscray

This is one of Mamma's favourite parks in the West. It is one of the best examples of an Edwardian public gardens in Victoria and has a genuine noble feel to match.

Big, wide grassy spaces provide the perfect arena to host a few classic party games like pass the parcel, egg and spoon race, three legged race or sack race. Or bring down some quoits or finska!

Chockers with trees and flowers, there’s also an elaborate duck pond - make sure you try and spot the giant orange Koi too - and of course the wonderful playground: Footscray Park play space.

With spectacular panoramic views of the Maribyrnong river and Melbourne cityscape, Footscray Park is a beautiful party destination!

Mamma’s special mentions: Scope out which area you want to host your birtdhay party, so you know which carpark will be the closest as there is parking on Ballarat Road but also over near the Maribyrnong River by the Footscray Park play space.
